Paola & Andy - Intimate Zion Wedding
We met at the entrance of Zion National Park at 5:30 am, which meant Paola had a really early morning to get her hair and makeup done. I believe she said that her make-up artist came over around 2 am-ish! After we met up we headed up to the canyon overlook parking lot so we could start our journey to the overlook for a sunrise first look.
On the way down to meet the family at the visitor center so we could ride to the ceremony location together. I loved sitting in the front listening to their families “oohing and aahing” at the scenery, it was their first time visiting Zion.
One obstacle they had was because of the pandemic the shuttle service was issued by limited amounts of tickets. Usually if you have a wedding permit you are able to get car passes to be able to transport your own items, yourself to your ceremony spot. Paola & Andy had a team of people all try to get tickets as soon as they were released (24 hours before). None of them were able to get tickets, I was also sitting on my computer trying to score some tickets but no luck. They had to use a private shuttle service to get their family to their ceremony location at the Temple of Sinawava.
Once we got all set up, the ceremony began with their pastor to perform the ceremony. Their ceremony was performed in Spanish which I so desperately wish I could. But I KNOW that it was a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony full of worship and love. P & A said their vows in English and I CRIED! It was so beautiful. Their love for one and another is powerful.
