Allie & Michael - Forest Park Couple's Session

Have you ever met someone and instantly loved them and wanted them to be your best friends? That was Allie and Michael for me. They have contagious smiles and laughs! You can tell they are genuinely good-hearted people. They met when they were in college at George Fox University in Newberg, OR. Allie is an ICU nurse and has been working with Covid-19 patients in her hospital. Michael is an accountant, which I have learned that some of the best people end up being accountants.

They met me on her day off at Forest Park in the heart of Portland, Oregon. We met the month before Covid-19 hit to US, and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to have met them. This was a fun trip for me because it was so liberating. It was one of the first trips I took by myself. I went out to get tacos at one of my favorite places, Por Que No? on my first day. Then headed to two bridal stores that I am obsessed with. a&be was the first stop, their store made me want to get married again so I could get one of their dresses. Then I headed over to Brides for a Cause, they have the coolest mission. Brides or bridal stores donate their dresses, Brides for a Cause sells the dresses at an affordable price then they donate the profits to charities. Isn’t that the coolest way to run a store?
