Alyssa & Jayden - Snow Canyon State Park Engagements

Alyssa and Jayden were such a blast. Jayden was born and raised here in St. George (that lucky duck). Alyssa is a transplant like me and has only been living here for about five years. 

These two got engaged for the holidays and are planning a March wedding at Seegmiller Historic Farm. Her older sister just got married last year in an intimate ceremony during the heat of Covid. They were planning a May wedding at the Cedar City LDS temple but when Covid hit they decided to have a small ceremony at the place where they got engaged. After the ceremony it immediately rained, rain is supposed to be good luck, right?

For Alyssa & Jaydens photos we head to Snow Canyon State Park just north of St. George. We had a blast! Unfortunately, Jayden hated his new haircut which is a total bummer because 

The week prior it was all sunshine and warmth here in Southern Utah. The day of their engagements it was overcast and raining off in the distance. I personally LOVE rain in the desert, it smells delicious. However, all my past shoots have all been in overcast and I was so stoked to have warmy, golden happiness. At the end the sun peaked out a little and I was so PUMPED!
